Cutting Tool Sales - Des Moines, IowaAs an outside sales representative, you will apply your extensive knowledge of CNC machining and cutting tools to provide our customers with the best solutions for their manufacturing needs. You will work closely with customers to understand their unique requirements and then offer tailored recommendations for cutting tools that will help them increase productivity and reduce costs. We are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in machining and cutting tool sales and applications. ResponsibilitiesCall on new and existing accounts in Des Moines and the surrounding area to sell cutting tools, tool holders, and related accessoriesAssist customers by providing technical expertise and product information and offering solutions and recommendationsWrite and follow up on quotes and close salesOther miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as required by the positionRequirements3+ years of machinist, machine shop experienceRelated technical degree desirable - CNC Machining, Industrial Machinist, etc.Sales experience helpful but not requiredAbility to ask questions, uncover needs, and offer tooling solutions and alternativesExcellent time management and follow-up skillsAbility to work independentlyProficient PC/computer skillsSalaried position transitioning to commissionValid driver's license.
