Position: Regional Sales Manager
Department: AMP Sales
Position Type: Full Time
Status: Exempt
Reports To: National Sales Director
Job Summary
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for managing a group of
manufacturer's representatives and directly selling the AMP
portfolio of products to achieve aggressive bookings and
profitability targets for the assigned territory. The individual in
this position must have the ability to effectively shepherd $50k to
$1m+ equipment deals through the purchasing processes for large
multinational organizations and smaller, privately held
enterprises. She/he should possess an understanding of customers in
the food, beverage, nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, and other
attractive industrial end markets for material processing
applications. The individual must exercise considerable independent
technical and commercial judgment over sales projects within an
assigned region of the division. The position regularly requires
50% travel for customer presentations, sales support, and service
consultation as required.
