Job Summary: -The Shop Hand provides on-site support for construction crews, is responsible for facility maintenance, fleet, and vehicle maintenance, pickup and delivery of materials and other duties as assigned.

KERA's - Key Essential Responsibility Areas for this position: -Construction Support/Inventory: ---- Flexibility to drive to job sites in all locations as needed with possibility of overnight stay--- Follow documentation process to accurately record all work performed--- Co-Responsible for shipping, receiving, and storage of material.--- Check in material based on customer requirements.--- Assist with customer material returns (retrieving S/N's, proper organization, scanning, palletizing).--- Unload trucks as needed--- Aid in preparation of materials/kits for crew leads--- Assist with maintenance of stock levels and procurement needs--- Help with material handling: unloading, checking in materials, moving from and to warehouse and stock room and staging jobs--- Schedule pick-ups and returns for customer provided materials--- Help maintain and improve the two-bin system--- Work with our ERP (Sage) when handling materials (look up POs, Jobs, etc.)--- Perform and Schedule all DOT inspections--- Perform annual equipment inspection--- Assist with management of security, camera, door systemsFacility Management: ---- Yard maintenance

      • Basic office tasks (emailing, scanning, copying, etc.)
      • Other duties as assigned. -Requirements - Employees will need to be able to perform the following:Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:--- Clean driving record--- Basic Welding Skills--- Must be able to work independently without direct supervision--- Class A CDL (or get in 6 month)--- Forklift Certified ---- Proficient in vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting - both diesel and gas powered
