Physicians' Clinic of Iowa, one of the leading multi-specialty physician groups in the region, is seeking a full time NCMA/CMA/LPN/RN to work in our busy Orthopedic Department.This individual will be responsible for (but not limited to):Ensure that all essential lab work (including x-rays etc.) is available prior to examinationPreparing patients for and assisting with examinationsPreparing injections and medicationsDressing wounds and incisionsMaintaining records of vitals and other pertinent patient dataReturn patient calls and call in prescriptionsThis individual will also triage incoming patient phone calls for provider. Experience with casting application would be beneficial.The leading candidate will demonstrate behaviors reflective of PCI's culture including commitment to providing excellent patient care, dedication to teamwork and working well with others, reliability, and will possess excellent communication skills. Must become proficient in utilizing computer systems including electronic medical record system. CPR certification required.
