Northeastern Iowa Family Practice Job

• Clinical Role:

  • This is a permanent position
  • Full time, 4 days a week 7:30-5:00 Monday thru Friday plus 1:4 call (One weeknight and every fourth weekend)
  • Average Number of Patients Per Day: 16
  • Number of Physicians in Practice: 4
  • How Many Mid-Levels Provide Coverage: 4 NPs in the clinics and 4 NP's in the ER
  • Will the Locum be Responsible for Supervising Other Health Care Providers? Yes, the advanced practitioners (NP's)
  • Respond to In-House Codes
  • Provide Backup for the ED
  • Number of Exam Rooms: 3 per provider
  • Average number of OB patients Per Day: 0
  • Services available on site: laboratory, radiology, surgery, respiratory therapy, PT, OT, speech
  • EMR: Epic
  • Trauma designation: 4 (critical access hospital)
  • All ages. Patient population - adult, geriatric, pediatric
  • Emergency supplies available: Defibrillator, airway, crash cart, IV supplies
  • BC/BE 0-5 years of residency
  • Active IA license highly preferred
  • BLS,ACLS,ATLS,PALS,NRP - required
