Role Summary The Die Setter will work in conjunction with each other to complete die set ups in an efficient and safe manner. Key Responsibilities

• Perform complete die sets per set up book and complete related paperwork accurately
• Perform die or press corrections when applicable or contact proper support personnel
• Assist in training operators on basic machine operations and quality inspections
• Responsible for quality of parts they produce and reporting any nonconforming parts to Quality and supervisor immediately
• Recommend proposals for improving products, processes, systems, productivity and work environment
• Maintain a good working relationship with his/her fellow employees, and keeps his/her supervisor advised of conditions within the work area
• Complete schedule work and tasks within time allotted or if unable to, supervisor must be notified
• Review supervisors log book for operations problems
• Record data as appropriate
• Follow and support Magna Body & Chassis Iowa's and Magna's operating principles
• Support efforts to achieve department and plant goals on Employee Opinion Survey Key Qualifications/Requirements Education and/or Experience:

• High school diploma or GED Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Forklift and crane certified or ability to become certified Additional Information This position is working 3rd Shift, 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. Sunday night through Friday morning Awareness. Unity.
