Systems AdministratorOur client is currently looking to hire a Systems Administrator with experience implementing medium-scale enterprise solutions. The Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining and upgrading existing internal systems as well as building innovative new solutions that will improve efficiency and streamline workflow. We are autonomous, data-driven, customer-centric and our goal is to provide our members with safe, reliable, cost-effective, sustainable electricity and excellent member service.Our work environment includes:+ Relaxed atmosphere+ Casual work attire+ Safe work environmentEssential Duties and Responsibilities:+ Installs, develops and maintains custom software and database applications for the Cooperative's Geographic Information System (ESRI GIS), SCADA system (OSI), Outage Management System (OMS), cooperative billing system (NISC), map display system (Partner and Reavis Code), and electronic staking system.+ Collect and analyze data from various inputs+ Insures an accurate ESRI based GIS mapping system by developing the interfaces necessary to expand the mapping package including all aspects of the electric utility business.+ Supports field staking by troubleshooting, replacing, and maintaining the field GPS units and staking computers/iPads.+ Provides for the continuous operation of computer systems by performing routine and emergency system administration tasks.+ Recommends changes to the computer and communication and software systems to keep in step with new technology.+ Assists other cooperative staff by providing software support and training.Education and Experience Requirements:Vocational/Technical school degree and/or equivalent experience required. Bachelor's degree in computer science or related major preferred. Two to three years of networking and database administration required. Experience with utility GIS, OMS, and SCADA and other engineering computer applications desired. Experience with ESRI, SQLServer, Oracle a plus.
