Construction Administrative Assistants work in construction companies and are responsible for a variety of administrative and clerical tasks, such as handling phone calls and mail, greeting clients and updating records. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Other duties may be assigned. --- Answer phone calls and take clear messages or route calls to the appropriate individual. --- Schedule meetings and meeting arrangements. --- Maintain master filing system for jobsite use, in both electronic and hard copy formats, where applicable. --- Coordinate transmittals, mailings and large volume photocopying. --- Expedite paperwork as needed. --- Develop and maintain spreadsheets, edit and distribute correspondence as needed. --- Coordinate shipping and receiving of any parcels/letters. --- Monitor consistency and accuracy of project correspondence. --- Coordinate, develop, and distribute minutes of project meeting and other related documents (budgets, schedules, resource needs, etc.) --- Maintain communication with project coordinator Requirements:Responsible for any visitor logs, call in phone to identify people not present on site, pick up miscellaneous items from Platteville or Dubuque (if needed).Construction Administrative Assistants work in construction companies and are responsible for a variety of administrative and clerical tasks, such as handling phone calls and mail, greeting clients and updating records. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Access, Excel, and Word. Other Qualifications: Must be available to travel to undetermined sites for duration of given project.
