Job Title: Enzyme Development Intern
Location: Coralville, IA
Shift: Day Shift (Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm)
- 12 weeks
Works on functional genomics technologies, including CRISPR,
RNAi, and Antisense
Applies knowledge of basic science and employs solid laboratory
skills to assist with bench experiments using variety of molecular
biology, cell biology, biochemical and general laboratory
techniques as directed.
Works with staff scientists to plan experimental details
required for execution of assigned work.
Provides assistance in analyzing raw data, reporting results and
planning the next experiments.
Utilizes mathematical, graphical, imaging, nucleic acid
analysis, and other software aids as needed.
Operates and maintains laboratory equipment.
Maintains accurate and detailed records of experimental
Provides support in keeping the laboratory equipment, benches
and materials clean.
Interacts with and assists other members of the R&D team as
needed to meet research objectives.
Assists in presenting information at group meetings as
