Job Summary

The Crossing Rivers Health Digital Communications Coordinator works under supervision and in close collaboration with the Chief Development Officer is responsible for coordinating the marketing and promotion of Crossing Rivers Health services, programs, education and outreach efforts. This position is responsible for creating and delivering digital marketing, promotional and community education content, materials and campaigns. The Digital Communications Coordinator ensures a consistent brand image across all media, with a focus on digital marketing.

Essential Job Functions

* Leads development, content generation, management and supervision of website, social media, in-house digital media and mobile applications. * Coordinates, delivers and measures effectiveness of digital marketing and publicity campaigns. * Ensures that messages and materials are supportive of and consistent with marketing strategies and defined brand standards. * Assists with all areas of content generation and production across all media platforms. * Assists with graphic design and layout, advertisement and publication development. * Coordinates news releases, reports, interview, articles, and distributes to media representatives as appropriate. Promptly responds to requests for information from the media. * Develops creative content for use in all media including community and staff newsletters, brochures, radio, print and billboard advertisements, flyers, social media and web content. * Ensures updated content are featured on the organization's website and social media accounts. * Coordinates all aspects of digital video creation for advertising, use by staff at public events and on the web. * Creates, delivers, edits and optimizes marketing materials. * Collaborates on planning and implementation of promotional and public relations events. * Coordinates promotion of services through community relations initiatives. * Develops relationships with key media contacts. * Gathers research and market data, media coverage, and market trends. * Coordinates all aspects of patient testimonials, including interview, photography and placement in appropriate media. * Remains current in industry and marketing trends and works to keep organization foremost in the minds of all relevant audiences. * Coordinates and delivers email and social media campaigns, surveys, etc. * Coordinates flow of information and communication and disseminate it according to plan/strategy. * Works with manager and business units to determine program budgets and manage expenses to that budget. * Promotes products and services through public relations initiatives. * Develops marketing campaigns. * Creates and delivers press releases, testimonials, executive bios, staff newsletter content, social media content, and speaking proposals. * Develops fresh story ideas. Research media coverage and industry trends. * Manages video content creation and distribution. * Other job duties and responsibilities as assigned to effectively meet the needs of the patients, the department, and the organization as a whole.

* Required - Associates Degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field. * Preferred - Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field. * Preferred - Extra coursework or degree in digital communications, business writing or journalism.


* A minimum of one year of experience in marketing. * Experience or coursework in digital communications and/or website management and Search Engine optimization preferred.

Computer Skills

* Requires excellent computer skills. * Previous experience working with Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
