Technical Project Leader (Hybrid) Hybrid: Employees who are working
in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Role
Summary: This position is for an experienced Systems Engineering
professional interested in technical project leadership. Join the
Mission Systems Airborne and Ground Communication Products
Department and help shape, define, and design communication
solutions that connect militaries around the world As a Systems
Engineer, you will design and develop military software-defined
radio products covering all spectrum bands. You will play an
integral role in developing the next generation of both networking
and non-networking software defined radio waveforms for existing
and new communication platforms. You will interface with
multi-discipline engineering teams to create total system
solutions, addressing both domestic and international customer

Systems Engineers who are interested in technical leadership of all
elements of the communication design process including system-level
trades, requirements development, communication system architecture
and design, performance assessment, integration and test,
verification, validation and support of fielded products.

Primary Responsibilities: Coordinates bids for engineering
development programs, including WBS task generation, scope
identification, budget and schedule estimating, risk
identification, and dependency identification. Performs technical
planning at all levels of the total system product including
concept, design, fabrication, modeling, test, installation,
operation, maintenance and disposal. Manages program technical
risks by evaluating requirements and design aspects. Interacts with
engineering management and team developers, value stream
leadership, business development, and finance. Represents the
company at internal and external customer meetings. Travels
occasionally to domestic and international locations. Provides
direct customer support for installation and integration of radio
products deployed on airborne and ground-based platforms around the
world. Acts as the direct interface to capture customer
requirements and operational concepts to be translated into a
system architecture and design. Performs functional analysis, trade
studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies
to translate customer requirements into hardware and software
specifications. Researches and evaluates investments or changes in
technology, resources, procedures, equipment, systems, or other
assets to improve the quality of the organization---s systems
products and services. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor---s degree
and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR Advanced Degree in a
related field and minimum 3 years experience OR In absence of a
degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required Typically
requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or
Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant
experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations. Must be a
U.S. Citizen Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department
of Defense (DoD) security clearance. Candidate selected will be
subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and
must meet eligibility requirements Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with complex project scheduling and strategic planning
Experience with communicating between program stakeholders
Experience with earned value management Experience with Agile
development methodologies Experience with tools such as DOORS,
MATLAB, C++, and Python Experience with Model Based System
Engineering (MBSE) concepts and tools (CAMEO) for developing
