Job Description:
Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing:
- Supervises nursing team members whom provide direct resident
care
- Communicates with all health care providers and partners
- Coordinates and implements nursing care as ordered by the
physician and agreed to by the resident
- Documents resident status / care / services in a timely,
accurate, and comprehensive manner
- Responsible for the provision of nursing services within the
scope of licensure and in compliance with current standards of
practice and corporate/care center policies and procedures
- Follows the plan of care and ensures the overall health and
well-being of each residentQualifications:
- Must have an unrestricted and active Iowa (or compact state) RN
or LPN license
- Experience in skilled nursing / long term care (LTC)
preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of federal and state nursing
facility rules and regulations, including licensing, OSHA, CDC, and
Public Safety
- If licensed as an LPN, the Iowa Board of Nursing requires the
completion of a Board-approved supervision course within six (6)
months of working in a charge / supervisory capacity
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
specific to the English language
- COVID-19 vaccination required, with exceptions for medical and

Wage (DOE): LPN: $25.00/hr (FT), $23.00/hr (PT); RN: $30.00/hr

$5/hr; 3rd Shift Differential: $2/hr; Weekend Differential: $2/hr
