Competitive Salary and Benefits:Health/Vision/DentalPaid Life Insurance401(k) with Company matchPaid vacationEmployee meat purchase salesThis is NOT a remote position.ResponsibilitiesHiring and Retention Manager job summary and responsibilities:The Hiring and Retention Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire hiring process which includes but is not limited to recruiting, interviewing, on-boarding, and employee orientation. The Hiring and Retention Manager will also be responsible for the retention of new hires for their first six months of employment to assimilate those individuals as National Beef/Iowa Premium employees. Hiring and Retention Manager essential job functions:Develops a plan to ensure that the facility attracts, hires, and retains our employees while growing a strong talent pipeline. This will include community outreach to local agencies, schools, and organizationsDesign and implement an overall recruiting strategyFulfill plant staffing and retention objectivesBuild applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, and Internet sites in conjunction with the National Beef Corporate Staff; Provide organizational information, telling the National Beef Story, discuss our opportunities and benefits; Make presentations and maintain rapport with these organizations and schoolsDetermine applicant requirements by reviewing the job description and qualificationsDetermine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing their responses and comparing qualifications to the job requirementsTrack and monitor all applicants and new hires from initial contact through six months of employmentEnsure compliance with all Federal, State, and local statutes and company policies during the on-boarding and hiring process Other duties as assigned QualificationsQualified candidates for the Hiring and Retention Manager position should possess the following:Five (5) years of experience in recruiting and/or Human ResourcesStrong communication, interpersonal and decision making skillsAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, databases and management systemsFamiliarity with job boards, Human Resource Software, databases, and management systemsExperience conducting interviewsBilingual English/Spanish or English/FrenchPreferred qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Management or related fieldProficiency with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and data analysisExperience developing recruiting strategiesDesire to grow professionally with networking and available training opportunities Company OverviewIowa Premium, a National Beef Company, is dedicated to being the premier supplier of premium family farm-raised corn-fed Black Angus beef.
