Job Description Non-Invasive Cardiology opening in Cedar Rapids, IA Cedar Rapids; Des Moines 100m Overview and Benefits Established team of 15 physicians and 8 Advanced Practitioners Established practice serving the Cedar Rapids community, and satellite outreach clinics in Anamosa, Manchester, and 3 other communities. Diverse practice covers sub-specialization in interventional cardiology, structural heart disease, peripheral vascular and electrophysiology. Part of a large multi-specialty group, including primary care, providing a built-in referral base. Experienced staff, both clinical and non-clinical, who know the patients and the community Full-time position, including dedicated administrative time, with flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination Responsibilities: Clinic hours: M-F 830AM-5PM Shared call among the providers Practice is a mix of inpatient and outpatient Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills Qualifications: M.D. or D.O. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology; Board exam must be completed within one year of hire date Ability to work as a team member Excellent communication, written and verbal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
