Job Description Urgent Care opening in Iowa - Located in Cedar
Rapids, IA - Full-time, permanent positionPosition
Highlights:Flexible Schedule: Full-time with an average of 14-15
shifts per month, including rotating weekend shifts.Team
Environment: Work alongside another provider per shift with no call
requirements.Clinic Hours: Urgent Care Clinics operate 8 AM - 8 PM
Monday to Friday and 8 AM - 3 PM on weekends.Supportive Care Team:
Access a 24/7 hospitalist program for adult and pediatric
inpatients, enhancing patient care coordination.Integrated EMR:
Fully integrated system using Epic EMR, allowing for effective
communication and patient management, including options for
patients to "reserve your spot" online.Responsibilities:Average of
5-6 patients per hour.Provide medical treatment for minor illnesses
and injuries to patients of all ages.Perform assessments and
diagnostic tests, and interpret results to guide patient
care.Prescribe treatments, refer patients for follow-up care, and
educate patients on health management.Work efficiently in a
fast-paced environment, maintaining high-quality care
standards.Qualifications:MD or DO, board eligible or board
certified in Family Medicine and/or Emergency Medicine.Preferred
certification in American Board of Urgent Care Medicine.Ability to
care for patients of all ages.Unrestricted medical license in Iowa
and authority to prescribe medications.Eligible to work in the
