Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Waterloo, IA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,200 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Waterloo, Iowa, 50703! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 24 months in Med Surg, Tele, Med/Tele License: Active Iowa license or compact multistate license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, MOAB (highly preferred) Must-Have: - Comfortable and confident in reading EKG/ECG including all Tele related duties/responsibilities. - Experience with drips including heparin, insulin, lasix, amiodarone, diltiazem, and digoxin. - Basic Dysrhythmia Assessment completion with a passing score of 80% during onboarding. - Skills Checklist specific to Med Surg, Tele, Med/Tele. - Professional reference from charge, supervisor, nurse manager, director, or CNO/COO performance evaluation from within the past 24 months. - Driver’s License. Description: We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse with a specialty in Med Surg/Telemetry. The position involves working night shifts on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will float to various departments including Behavioral Health, Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, and some post-procedural areas. Candidates should possess significant experience in Med Surg and Tele nursing practices. Reading EKG/ECG is essential to perform the responsibilities required in this role. Candidates are expected to demonstrate proficiency with various medication drips. Training for preferred certifications can be obtained during onboarding.
