Doctor of Medicine | Anesthesiology - Obstetric Location: Davenport, IA Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Description Position: Locum Physician – Anesthesiology (Obstetrics Focus) Location: Davenport, IA Unit: Anesthesiology Status: Open – High Priority Positions Available: 1 Position Overview A healthcare system in Davenport, IA is seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist with Obstetrics specialization to fill an urgent locum need. This role requires full-time, in-house 24-hour call coverage and focuses exclusively on OB services within an inpatient setting. The ideal candidate is experienced, highly skilled in obstetric anesthesia, and comfortable managing inpatient OB cases independently. Assignment Details Start Date: March 22 Schedule: 7 days per week (full-time locum coverage) Shift Type: 24-hour in-house call On-Call Requirement: Yes (in-house) Weekend Coverage: As needed Setting: Inpatient only OB services only EMR: Cerner Compensation: Inquire for details Clinical Responsibilities Provide obstetric anesthesia services in an inpatient hospital setting Manage labor and delivery anesthesia cases Deliver epidural, spinal, and general anesthesia for OB patients Respond to obstetric emergencies requiring anesthesia support Collaborate with OB hospitalists and multidisciplinary teams Utilize EMR for accurate documentation and patient charting No supervision of APPs required Travel & Reimbursement Flights (round-trip cap applies; no upgraded airfare) Lodging (GSA-based cap applies) Rental Car (daily cap applies; upgrades require pre-approval) Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate Note: Application or credentialing fees are not reimbursed Requirements Required Qualifications (Must Be Clearly Noted at Submission) Board Certified in Anesthesiology – Required Active Iowa Medical License – Required Specialization in Obstetrics – Required Experienced provider – Required Clean Malpractice & Background History – Required NPDB Self-Query (within the last month or within 90 days) – Required Submission Requirements Updated CV / Work History Relevant Skill Checklist 2 Current Supervisory Professional References NPDB Self-Query Benefits ??
