At Encompass Health, you will be instrumental in providing the highest quality of patient care in both facility-based and home-based settings, focusing on delivering personalized patient experiences that align with our compassionate approach to recovery and care. Provide basic patient care under direction of nursing staff. Perform duties such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, or moving patients, or changing linens. Record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration rate, as directed by medical or nursing staff. Communicate with patients to ascertain feelings or need for assistance or social and emotional support. Document or otherwise report observations of patient behavior, complaints, or physical symptoms to nurses. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients to promote optimal health. Assist in the transport of patients to and from various departments. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to follow detailed instructions. Physical endurance and ability to lift patients. Knowledge of healthcare safety protocols and infection control. Basic understanding of patient care and hygiene standards. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) by the state in which you will be working. CPR certification is required or must be obtained upon hiring.
