Job Description:
Urgent Care Physician Opening - Cedar Rapids, Iowa Join a
well-established urgent care system offering flexible scheduling,
strong clinical support, and a fully integrated EMR platform. This
role provides autonomy, work-life balance, and the ability to care
for patients of all ages. About the Opportunity -Clinics open 8:00
AM-8:00 PM Monday-Friday; 8:00 AM-3:00 PM Saturday &
Sunday-Full-time schedule with flexibility; average 14-15 shifts
per month-Rotating weekend shifts-Two providers scheduled per
shift-No call requirements-Full-time role includes dedicated
administrative time-24/7 hospitalist program manages adult and
pediatric inpatients-EPIC EMR across clinics and hospitals for
seamless care coordination-Optional online patient "reserve your
spot" check-in Responsibilities -Average of 5-6 patients per
hour-Diagnose and treat minor illnesses and injuries-Perform select
diagnostic testing and lab tests-Prescribe treatment plans and
arrange follow-up care-Provide care to all ages in a fast-paced
environment-Make decisions based on patient evaluation and clinical
data-Patient-focused, team-oriented, and collaborative
approach-Strong written and verbal communication skills-Excellent
clinical judgment and problem-solving skills Qualifications -MD or
DO-Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine and/or
Emergency Medicine-Preferred: American Board of Urgent Care
Medicine certification-Ability to care for patients of all
ages-Eligible for unrestricted Iowa medical license-Must maintain
state and federal prescribing authority-Eligible to work in the
United States (H1B cap-exempt) Compensation and Benefits -Initial
