Facility A hospital is seeking a CRNA for locum tenens coverage.
About the Facility Location The facility is located near New
Hampton, IA. About the Clinician's Workday Schedule is guaranteed
for 8-hour days, though it may vary, with no call required. CRNAs
will work independently (with a provider or surgeon present) and
cover a variety of cases, including adult and pediatric general
surgery, minor nerve blocks, IV regional anesthesia, spinal and
regional anesthesia, ventilation management, local infiltration,
cataracts, colonoscopies, EGDs, carpal tunnel, and similar
procedures. No pain management cases are involved, and the facility
is a Level 4 Trauma center. On average, providers can expect 1115
cataract cases per day plus 34 additional procedures. The EMR
system is EPIC, with a required 45 hour compensated training class.
