About The Position We are seeking an experienced Critical Care Nurse Practitioner for a 50-day locum tenens assignment in Iowa. This position starts on Oct 27, 2025, and involves managing approximately 15 patients per day during 10-hour shifts from 12p to 10p. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for rounding in a 14-bed ICU, handling 1-2 new encounters per shift, and performing consultations as needed. No procedural work is required. Job Details - Location: Iowa - Facility Type: Hospital - Start Date: Oct 27, 2025 - LOA: 50 days - Provider Type Needed: Critical Care Nurse Practitioner - Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 12p to 10p, roughly 10 shifts a month Responsibilities and Duties - Manage patient care for approximately 15 patients per day - Conduct 1-2 new patient encounters per shift - Provide consultations as necessary - Collaborate with assigned RN to ensure high-quality patient care - Utilize Epic EMR system to document patient interactions - Maintain a professional and safe environment in a Trauma center ICU Additional Information - Must be certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) - Board certification in Internal Medicine required - Must hold a valid Nurse Practitioner license in Iowa Apply now to learn more!
