Job Description:
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN)

Minimum of 1.5 years NICU experience License: Iowa State License
Certifications: PALS (AHA), BLS, NRP Must-Have: - Epic EMR
experience - Must be comfortable and willing to float across NICU
and Pediatrics Description: As a member of the interdisciplinary
team, you will contribute your professional nursing knowledge and
skills in the provision and management of care to patients through
the application of the nursing process. You will work in a Level
III NICU with a total of 22 beds. The nurse-to-patient ratio will
be 1:3 unless acuity requires more. You will administer various
drips and medications as required. Equipment used includes Drager
CPAP, Vent, HFOV, Jet, Cooling, and CFM monitors in the NICU. In
Pediatrics, equipment includes Drager CPAP and vapotherm. You are
required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or
Thanksgiving. There is a limit of 1 day request off between
specific holiday periods for all travelers. Scrubs must be in
black, navy, or Caribbean blue pants with designated tops.
