PLEASE NOTE APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN ITS ENTIRETY FOR FURTHER CONSIDERATION OF THIS POSITION - PLEASE REVIEW AND UPDATE THE PROFILE SECTION TO INCLUDE EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION SECTIONSThe Physicians' Clinic of Iowa Department of Orthopaedics is seeking a full-time Surgery Scheduler to perform scheduling duties for its busy practice.This individual will work with patients to schedule surgical including but not limited to: educate patients on all requirements regarding their upcoming procedure, contact operating rooms to schedule procedures, maintaining records of surgical procedures scheduled, schedule labs, radiology studies, EKG when indicated and schedule pre-admission surgical appointments if indicated. Candidate will also obtain insurance prior authorizations for surgical procedures. Leading candidate will have experience performing similar functions as well as other duties as assigned.Must be able to provide the highest level of customer service to patients, physicians, and all practice personnel. Ability to work well with others is a must.
