What you'll do as a Registered Nurse (RN):
--- Effectively communicates resident needs with physicians and immediate supervisor
--- Completes resident assessments as required; supervises LPN in data gathering of information
--- Maintains awareness of the condition of all residents under their care
--- Accurately administers all medications, treatments, and physician orders; taking ultimate responsibility for resident care
--- Confers with the Director of Nursing on an ongoing basis with special problems of care, resident transfers, management of workload, etc.
--- Coordinates preparation and planning of resident admission; giving proper recognition to the real and potential contribution of family and others in planning nursing care
--- Provides for emotional and physical comfort and safety of residents, and emotional support to families
--- Supervises, assists, consults with and teaches certified nursing assistants
What you'll need as a Registered Nurse (RN):
--- Graduate of a state board-approved school
--- Currently licensed in Iowa
--- Current in CPR certification or willing to achieve it
--- This is an hourly position, which means you must be able and willing to work weekends and holidays as required/needed
--- Exceptional attendance
