Job Description:
Locum Family Medicine Physician to start as soon as credentialed
in Guttenberg, IA. The position is a full-time clinic practice with
1:4 hospital call responsibilities and physician back-up of the
advanced practitioners in the ER. ASAP-Ongoing Full time, 4 days a
week 7:30-5:00 Monday thru Friday plus 1:4 call (One weeknight and
every fourth weekend) Average Number of Patients Per Day: 16 Number
of Physicians in Practice: 4 How Many Mid-Levels Provide Coverage:
4 NP's in the clinics and 4 NP's in the ER Physician will be
responsible for Supervising Other Health Care Providers; the
advanced practitioners (NP's) Physician will respond to In-House
Codes. Physician is expected to provide backup for the ED Number of
Exam Rooms: 3 per provider Average number of OB patients Per Day: 0
Services available on site: laboratory, radiology, surgery,
respiratory therapy, PT, OT, speech EMR: Epic Trauma designation: 4
(critical access hospital) All ages. Patient population - adult,
geriatric, pediatric Must be BC or TBE Certification requirements:
BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, NRP Emergency supplies available:
Defibrillator, airway, crash cart, IV supplies Credentialing
