Use your strengths as Health Services Data & Reporting Specialist I
You will be responsible for supporting and monitoring data and reporting for Health Services. You will work with internal stakeholders to produce analysis and develop key insights based on ongoing and ad hoc needs. You will work collaboratively to optimize reporting strategies and support performance management and quality within Health Services. You will understand Health Services programs and JIVA workflows to support reporting strategies and manage documentation for the control and monitoring of policies, procedures, work instructions, and the data management procedures playbook.
Ideal candidates have a solid baseline knowledge of data analytics and reporting tools such as Excel, Business Objects, Power BI and preferably SQL. They are detail oriented with the ability to work independently and collaborate closely with other teammates. They are skilled in testing, data mapping and technical writing for the creation of process documentation and managing metadata. They seek development opportunities and have a passion for learning from their peers.
Qualifications
Required:


  • Bachelor's degree or direct and applicable work experience
  • 2+ years of experience: working with databases (e.g. database and extract, maintenance, developing and using reports, and test plans to ensure data integrity).
  • Experience writing reports and complex database queries.
  • Proficiency with Excel (including Pivot Tables and visualizations, and Business Objects).
  • Ability to quickly learn new analysis tools and software applications such as Power BI, and programming languages such as SQL.
  • Ability to prepare strategic and departmental dashboards for business modeling and metrics reporting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical information or solutions to internal and external stakeholders
  • Detail oriented, self-motivated, strong analytical/technical orientation
  • Proactive self-starter with effective time management skills and ability to organize and prioritize projects and tasks
  • Ability to research, identify, evaluate, and recommend leading practices related to reporting and performance monitoring
  • Ability to manage multiple activities or projects

    Preferred:

    • Hands-on experience using SQL, MS Power BI, and other business intelligence tools
    • Proven ability to mine and query data across structured data sets
    • Experience working with large data sets and spreadsheets

      JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
      a. Produce analyses and develop key insights on daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis for various stakeholders to build the business, recognize business needs, support workflows, and provide oversight of tasks, goals, and assignments.b. Perform and document data profiling, quality assessment, and other data manipulation efforts to understand data formats, source systems, file sizes, etc.c. Keep uptodate and informed regarding JIVA system changes and database enhancements apply new information to control and monitoring reporting and communicate changes to staff as appropriate. Work collaboratively with Business Analysts and Team Leaders.d. Assist leaders and other stakeholder with understanding for staff productivity and caseload reports, and opportunities to leverage system capabilities.e. Support quality review of control and monitoring reports to ensure accuracy and governance standards. Maintain strategies to monitor data quality, tracking results and trends, and communicate results to appropriate staff. Look for better ways to drive the business partner with other team members and leader to share ideas.f. Maintain, and implement control and monitoring policies and procedures for sourcing, analyzing, and preparing internal reporting and presentations. Maintain accurate and uptodate documentation for reporting resources, including Business Objects Reports and Power BI Key Performance Indicators. Implement the Control and Monitoring Playbook.g. Use Desk Level documents to provide manually modified reports and summation of detailed activity data to stakeholders.h. Maintain and monitor data requests from internal stakeholders. Gather information and research requests to support analysis or report modification.i. Other duties as assigned.
