We are looking to add aProject Managerwho will help foster our mission that All People Should Live in Safe, Sustainable and Beautiful Communities!What you will be doing:Responsible for the management planning, scheduling and performance of multiple engineering projects and personnel.Serves as primary client contact and is responsible for problem resolutions related to projects.Identifies the project scope and participates in the contract negotiation.Develops and monitors project budgets and implements corrective action if appropriate.Supervise and reviews final design, plans, and specifications and insures conformance with corporate quality standards.Manages construction phase engineering services and provides technical advice regarding design, construction or modification and repairs to clients, contractors and other staff members.Performs business development activities (i.e. RFP's, presentations, preparation of proposals)Responsible for developing and implementing appropriate marketing plans.Plans and organizes project assignments and is responsible for the work of other engineers and technicians.Responsible for on-going coaching, mentoring and professional development of team members.Leads the performance appraisal process for their team members.Reviews timesheets, prepares billings and responsible for collections.Approves and presents preliminary reports and feasibility studies.Maintains liaison relationships with regulatory agencies.Maintains and enhances skills through continuing education at a level sufficient to meet or exceed state licensure requirements.Travels to work sites and other project related locations, as necessary.What we are looking for:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent program an accredited college.Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.)Twelve years of progressive design and complex construction experience.Excellent interpersonal written & verbal communication skills.Excellent time management, organizational and problem solving skills.Advanced math skills.Strong attention to detail.Effective supervisory and team leadership skills.Thorough knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite. (MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint)Working knowledge and skills in CAD and design software.(i.e. AutoCAD Civil3D, Microstation)Working knowledge of specialized design software.
