SummaryAsthe Sales Director, you'll lead the sales processes for large, complex healthcare organizations with complicated digital needs. Working closely with our internal subject matter experts, you'll consult and recommend customized digital experiences, products, and services based on the prospective client's unique needs. By developing the overall sales strategy, you'll direct everything from target markets to proposals to win strategies. You'll also identify healthcare and digital market trends and emerging products, influencing Geonetric's vision and product strategy and impacting the direction of all Geonetric teams.To be successful in this role, you must move Geonetric forward by accurately forecasting future sales, meeting or exceeding sales targets, ensuring successful projects by smoothly handing off information to the delivery teams, identifying and responding to new and shifting market trends and opportunities, and leading a successful new-sales win strategy.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesWhile you might get to work on just about anything at Geonetric, you'll primarily:

  • Develop the sales strategy for new complex sales opportunities, including projects involving vendor-partners, large organizations with complicated needs, digital experience platform sales, and sales with undefined new products, deliverables, or strategies
  • Lead the sales team by overseeing, mentoring, and managing the team's attainment of expected revenue while maintaining (and exceeding) your individual sales goals and key performance indicators
  • Develop and lead sales strategies for Geonetric by analyzing and improving current processes and shifting our approach to align with market changes
  • Proactively work with marketing to identify and launch initiatives to drive new business development growth
  • Generate, develop, and qualify potential leads with targeted prospects through various prospecting activities, including cold calling, client referrals, partner relationships, and existing relationships
  • Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with prospects while helping to improve outcomes
  • Determine and execute team strategies for addressing new questions and unique objections; recommend products and services in a way that meets the prospects' specific needs, sells the value of Geonetric, and maximizes the potential investment of the sale
  • Respond to complex proposal requests form potential clients. Develop the scope and outline for the proposal. Collaborate with the proposal writer to customize the content for the prospective client, create new content needed, and ensure the accuracy and completeness regarding deliverables, timeframes, and pricing
  • Negotiate pricing and scope with prospective clients, working closely with internal Geonetric teams on final proposal and contract, identifying needed changes to pricing structureor package, and ensuring accuracy
  • Lead targeted sales presentations and demonstrations customized to the audience/client needs (including c-suite executives, marketing, IT, and other stakeholders), working with subject matter experts, strategic partners, and other contributors to align messaging and overall win strategy
  • Ensure smooth hand-off of new clients to both project and account teams to create a successful project and a valuable, long-term client relationship
  • Maintain integrity of contact database by adding, deleting, and updating contact information to ensure data is accurate for sales forecasting process
  • Identify target markets, market trends, and common pain points across prospective clients, competitive advantages, and overall themes of the industry to devise and recommend creative solutions, new products, and different pricing and sales strategies
  • Collaborate with business development teams to define Geonetric's tradeshow strategy and represent Geonetric at industry events and conferencesEducation and Experience
    • Bachelor's Degree required
    • Eight to Ten (8-10) years of related sales experience required
    • Previous experience in healthcare preferred
    • Previous experience with digital experience platforms and web-based strategy solutions preferredProfessional Skills
      • Strong oral and written communication skills required; including phone, presentation, and negotiating skills
      • Ability to communicate effectively with C-Suite level executives and within a group or committee structure required
      • Strong analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills required
