within the Military Avionics group at Collins Aerospace. Here, you
will play a crucial role in developing and testing avionics for
Special Operations Aviation (SOA) programs. This dynamic position
offers flexibility to push the boundaries of technology, enhancing
the capabilities of aircraft platforms. This role requires a highly
motivated person to help lead the charge for the SOA CAAS Futures
Team. The SOA CAAS Futures Team is focused on the advancement of
technology & prototyping for SOA CAAS and Rotary Wing department
programs. What You Will Do: You will perform Platform Systems
Engineering (PSE) activities for the SOA CAAS Futures programs,
including creation of design artifacts and decisions, execution of
test procedures, testing the systems out in the lab, etc. Tools
used are DOORS, JIRA, PREP, Microsoft, SVN and others. You will
complete work for avionics solutions across two avionics cockpits
for the Special Operations Aviation (SOA) programs. You will
navigate through the bids & pursuits, adhering to Collins Processes
for the SOA programs You will lead customer discussions alongside
the program chiefs & architects. You will design system solutions,
ensuring the integration of Collins Aerospace products into complex
upgrade programs for the SOA CAAS Futures programs (including new
AVC-4910, Large Area Displays, etc.). You will provide mentorship
to other engineers within the SOA CAAS Futures team and others in
the department. Travel (domestic-US, and possible International) is
possible of this position, estimating What You Will Learn: You will
deepen your understanding of aircraft systems engineering, gaining
insights into advanced integration and development processes. You
will continue to build your leadership skills and influence major
project outcomes. You will expand your professional network,
working alongside avionics experts and customers. Qualifications
You Must Have: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology,
Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior
relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and
minimum 5 years of experience . Experience with TNT, DOORS, PREP,
JIRA and/or Microsoft Office Suite. Qualifications We Prefer:
Ability to obtain a US Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET security

for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range
provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience
