Job Description Job Description Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in the Dubuque Area Job Description The primary focus of this role is to provide day-to-day line support and troubleshooting. The successful candidate will partner with operations, quality, maintenance, and supply chain functions to drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Responsibilities Collaborate closely with production teams to perform problem solving and root cause analysis. Lead continuous improvement projects utilizing lean manufacturing principles. Drive cost reductions and yield improvements. Utilize project management tools to enhance productivity. Improve equipment capability and reliability. Identify opportunities for error proofing and implement effective solutions. Essential Skills Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Experience in problem solving and root cause analysis. Proficiency in lean manufacturing and quality engineering. Experience with project management. 5-10 years of industry experience preferred. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in an operations or maintenance role. Lean manufacturing green or black belt certification. Work Environment This is a dynamic engineering environment where you will spend the majority of your day on the floor doing maintenance and troubleshooting when supporting production. For project support, expect to spend 50-60% of your day on the floor. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Dubuque, IA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $58.00/hr.
