Jensen Transport Inc in Independence, IA is looking for One EXPERIENCED Diesel Mechanic to join our hard-working, driver focused team.

We believe the best mechanics can also diagnose and test drive their repairs, Class A CDL required.

Truck Mechanics at Jensen:

• 
  
• 7:30 am- 5:00 pm hours
  
• Extra hours available at times (we like to be caught up or ahead on preventive maintenance)
  
• $30.00 per hour starting based on experience rebuilding engines
  
• Engines are Detroit Diesel Series 60
  
• Duties would include all parts of truck and trailer maintenance
  
• We do almost EVERYTHING. From tires and brakes to rebuilding of engines and transmissions, There's always something more to learn.
