The successful candidate will have many of the following skills/experience: - Knowledge or experience in system requirements capture, design, and decomposition - Understanding of system validation and verification processes for technical product development - Working knowledge of software tool development/deployment, and a strong understanding of the relationships between all functional disciplines, including Systems, Software, and IT Infrastructure - Ability to adapt to change - Accomplish tasks on schedule - Experience with Agile teams - Collaborate with teammates to make the best decisions - Enjoy learning new technologies - Be self motivated to contribute in a work environment positively - Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing - Able to work independently or within a team - Positive attitude and eager to learn and improve Responsibilities include: - Bring together key customer representatives to derive requirements, make trades, and determine the best path forward for software tool initiatives - Track, analyze, and report execution metrics as required to understand program status and performance - Mentor teammates - Generate estimates for software tool initiatives in a high-complexity environment - Represents the department to the engineering customer, as well as other internal and external parties - Effectively interact and build trust with team members from many different backgrounds, including engineering management, engineering teams, program management, and operations Basic Qualifications: - US Citizenship or Green Card Holder - Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline At Collins Aerospace, we believe a solid work-life balance creates a healthy lifestyle and inspires creativity and innovation.
