Job Description:

The Accounting Intern will assist the accounting teamwith accounts payable/receivable, reporting, document filing and retrieval.
Primary Duties andResponsibilities

• The intern will assist with a wide range of duties, including analyzing data, preparing financial reports, entering data and learning about various finance activities.
  • Sales and cost analysis to determine business profitability.
  • Process review and documentation / work instruction updates.
  • Support financial and non-financial reporting requirements.
  • Learn how to work as part of the accounting team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company.
  • Assist in preparing PowerPoint presentations to be provided to Senior and Executive Management.
  • Cross functional support to operations.
  • Participates in special projects and performs special assignments as required. Education andExperience Profile
    • Ideal candidate is working toward a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
    • Knowledge and understanding of financial and accounting principles
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Required Skills
      • Ability to gather, review, analyze, synthesize, and report data
      • Ability to work well and participate in a team environment.
      • Demonstrate strong organizational and planning skills
      • Display excellent written and strong oral communication skills Work Environment:
        Workingconditions are normal for an office environment.
